Kapoho tide pools are homes to many different types of fish, turtles, and multicolored coral beds. In Kapoho, there are crystal clear water and calm surf conditions, which are wonderful for children. Regardless of the ocean conditions, the tidal pools are protected from the surf & allows easy entry into and out of the water. Once your out in the Kapoho Bay there is an opportunity to explore larger sea life, paddle out to the reef & surf or kayak the incoming waves, and there are lots of space to do some windsurfing! |

Kapoho located just 8 miles from Pahoa where guests can buy supplies in a choice of grocery, fun shops, including art and collectables. This quiet local town, reminiscent of 'old Hawaii' features a farmer's market where visitors will enjoy sampling Hawaii's exotic fruits, flowers, specialty foods, jewelry, island-made clothing and traditional Hawaiian crafts. Kapoho is 30 miles south of Hawaii's capital city of Hilo the largest settlement on the Big Island and the home of the Hilo International Airport. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is about an hour's drive from Kapoho. Nearby, guests enjoy exploring the Lava Tree State Park and Ahalanui County Park's naturally heated swimming pools, Kapoho's exquisite coral gardens, the Keaau orchid growing area, and many more local attractions and interest. |

| All charges are subject to Hawaii Transient Tax 13.4166%. Cleaning charges are $125 for up to 6 guests and $175 for 7-10 guests. Smoking is prohibited inside the house and a minimum of $250 fine will apply if the policy is violated. | |||
| Payment- We accept all major credit cards includes: Discover, American Express, Master & Visa Cards. We also accept personal or postal checks but we will require a $200 refundable security deposit from a credit card prior to you mailing out a check. The security deposit will be returned back on to the credit or debt card 7 business days after the exit of your stay as long as there are no damage, excess cleaning or any other charges outstanding. We require 50% deposit upon booking with balance due 60 days prior to your arrival. Please call us at 808-965-4026 when you are ready to book your reservations. | |||
| Rates are for 2 guests ($15 each add'l guest per night; maximum of 10 guests). No additional daytime guests permitted. Use of downstairs bedrooms is for when the party is more than 6 guests, or if needed for the elderly. To reduce cleaning expenses, we ask if your party is 6 or less, to not use the downstairs bedrooms/beds unless it is absolutely necessary which then an additional cleaning fee will be charged. Please let us know while booking if downstairs will be needed so that it can be cleaned and unlocked prior to your arrival there is an extra $25 to unlock the 1st Level. Check-in is between 3 PM to 9 PM and if you are checking in later than 9 PM please call for special arrangements 72hrs prior. Check-out before 11 AM for parties of 6 or less or if you did not use the Lower Level bedrooms for homes that have lower levels, otherwise checkout at 10 AM. | |||
